Pole Motion 2012 Round Up

2012 has gone so fast - it’s hard to believe that is was only last year that we were just starting out and filming our first pole fitness DVD.

Since then we’ve worked hard to spread the word about pole fitness around the world and offer great service and quality products to our customers. We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone for their support.

We hope you enjoyed 2012 as much as we did - here’s our quick round up of what went on.  We hope it brings back some good memories of your year in pole too.

January: Justine McLucas and Bendy Kate wowed the Judges on series 3 of Got to Dance.

February: We attended the Lincoln Pole Championships with Justine McLucas (who was also a judge) and the Pole for U aNd I Inter University Pole Competition. 

March: We ran a competition for a lucky poler to win a private lesson with Justine McLucas and attended the Inter University Pole Fitness Competition in Bristol.

April: Pole Motion DVD review in Indigo Pro Magazine

May: This was a busy month for pole dancing competitions and we attended the Pole Factor finals in Sudbury, the South West Pole Showcase in Bristol and the Bucks Pole Fitness Championships in Milton Keynes.

June: Justine did her first workshop tour in the USA, sponsored by Pole Motion, X Pole and Mika Yoga Wear with the final destination being the Pole Convention in LA where we all met up. 

July: We interviewed World Pole Sport Championship event organiser and British pole dancing pioneer KT Coates. 

August: Mika launched new beautiful printed tops. These are so gorgeous! 

September: Our Pole Motion Pole Fitness DVD featuring Justine McLucas exceeded 1,000 sales in the UK and Justine performed at the 3rd edition of Gravity First in Mexico.

October: Pole Motion shortlisted as a finalist in the 2012 Startups Awards. 

November: We attended a Zoraya Judd Masterclass and made some new pole friends. 

December: Pole Motion were sponsors of the the UKPPC finals in Telford which was an amazing event with some of the best performances we’ve seen all year. The perfect end to an amazing year.
